NSPCC releases vital information to spot signs of abuse – Covid-19
April 22, 2020

The NSPCC have released some very useful information in respect of ensuring that signs of abuse and neglect are spotted in times whereby contact with adults and those who can spot the signs is reduced.

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) we are all self-isolating, social distancing and spending much more time at home. This means some families might need extra support with parenting. And if a child is experiencing abuse, there aren’t as many opportunities for adults to spot the signs and help.

Isolation can put some children at a greater risk of domestic abuseneglectphysical abuseemotional abuse and sexual abuse.
