Remedy Law is Expanding
September 6, 2023

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tracy Hunns-Clarke at Remedy Law as a Consultant Lawyer. Tracy has over 25 years’ experience and is an APIL accredited Senior litigator. She specialises in both medical negligence and personal injury claims, and will run and manage her own caseload as well as assist with those currently ongoing in our ever increasing portfolio of medical negligence instructions.

Tracy’s medical negligence experience includes handling complex, high value claims against Hospital Trusts, General Practitioners and other organisations and she has a particular specialism in Cerebral Palsy negligence claims.

Her accolades include the following previously successful claims.

• Represented a young woman who suffered Cerebral Palsy as a result of mis-managed labour. The claim settled in excess of £2 million and Tracy negotiated an additional amount by way of periodical payments for the remainder of her life.

• Acting for a male in respect of misstatement of Multiple Myeloma which led to a failed remission of cancer in the neck and destruction of vertebrae.

• Instructed by the Estate of a gentleman who the NHS failed to recall for follow up Gastroscopy following a diagnosis of Barrett’s Oesophagus, sadly with a fatal outcome. The claim settled in excess of £300,000

• Settled a claim on behalf of an individual who suffered Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome as a result of working with air tools for many years. The employers strenuously fought the case which settled only days before trial. The client received a significant sum in damages.

We are excited to welcome Tracy to the team and we wish Tracy all the best in her new role with us.
